Your AI agent finished the job.
Why does it still have access?

Authority that ends. Evidence that it did.

An AI agent can complete its task while credentials, permissions, and access remain active much longer.

Every unnecessary minute of access is another opportunity for misuse, compromise, or unintended action.

The output remains. The authority does not.

What actually happens today

Even with good controls, agent authority can outlive the task.

The credential outlives the task

A privileged action is approved for one purpose. Its credential or session may remain valid long after the work is done.

Recovery becomes continuation

A restarted, recovered, or replaced agent may reuse yesterday’s authority if identity or credentials have not changed.

The end goes unverified

Logs and dashboards may say a task finished. They do not independently establish that execution-scoped authority terminated.

What changes with AttesTorr

AttesTorr is developing a mandatory, hardened, measured Amazon Machine Image (AMI) for AWS deployment, with Layer ZERO software bound to the trusted image. Customers operate their own instances in AWS accounts they control and configure permitted controls; AttesTorr controls the trusted image, bound software, fixes, and releases.

1

Bound the action

Give one execution only the identity, authority, data, network, and time it needs for the declared task.

2

End the grant

When the task ends, execution-scoped authority and session identity are invalidated. Nothing live carries forward.

3

Make the end verifiable

Closure evidence remains so an independent verifier can evaluate closure. The verifier does not restore authority.

One action. One authorization. One verifiable end.

An AI agent receives permission to perform a specific privileged action on a named system. Its authority is limited to that execution. When the action closes, its execution-scoped identity and authority terminate. Any subsequent action requires fresh admission.

Standing accessAuthority may remain available after the task completes.
Scoped executionAuthority ends at closure. Evidence remains for independent evaluation.

The execution lifecycle

Authority is created for the execution, governed during it, and ended at closure.

1ADMITOnly approved actions may enter.
2BINDExecution-scoped identity and authority.
3EXECUTEAction occurs only through admitted paths.
4CLOSEAuthority and session identity are invalidated.
5SUCCESSORAny later action requires fresh admission.
INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION · AFTER CLOSE · NOT A LIFECYCLE PHASE
An independent verifier evaluates the complete closure evidence after CLOSE. Its conclusion does not restore authority or admit a successor.

What AttesTorr does—and does not—claim

Layer ZERO is AttesTorr’s horizontal execution-lifecycle architecture. The initial supported product is intended to be a mandatory, hardened, measured Amazon Machine Image (AMI) for AWS deployment, with bound Layer ZERO software. Customers operate their own instances in AWS accounts they control and retain control of their data, keys, permitted policies, and operations; AttesTorr controls the trusted image, bound software, approved fixes, and releases. Its design targets bounded execution authority and independently evaluable closure evidence within a declared enforcement and evidence profile. An altered or unverified deployment does not inherit an AttesTorr assurance claim. The reference implementation is underway and AttesTorr is pre-MVP and pre-revenue; no production demonstration or independently validated assurance is claimed. Future edge or robotic implementations require separate validation.

Start with one action

The first commercial motion is one protected action class in regulated financial services—typically a privileged production-cloud identity or access action under the institution’s existing controls.

Early access means a conversation about that specific action, not a catalog demo.
